Investigations have revealed that in eight blocks of the district, preparations are underway to cancel the U-DISE codes of 23 schools. These include 19 private schools and 4 madrasas. Jale Block: Notices have been issued to cancel the U-DISE codes of six private schools and three madrasas.
Bahadurpur Block: U-DISE codes of five private schools will be revoked.
Hanuman Nagar Block: One school is under scrutiny for code cancellation.
Sadar Block: One madrasa is included in the list.
Ghanshyampur Block: One madrasa’s U-DISE code will be canceled.
Hayaghat Block: Two schools are facing action.
Singhwara Block: One school has been identified for U-DISE code cancellation.
Biraul & Baheri Blocks: One school in each of these blocks is set for code cancellation.
According to DPO SSA Mohammad Mustafa Jamal, a district-level investigation revealed that 19 private schools and several madrasas were found non-compliant with the U-DISE code update requirement.

For example, in Bahadurpur Block, schools like Red Rose Academy, Azad Public School, MT International School, and Mithila Public School are under scrutiny. Similarly, in Jale Block, institutions such as Akshar Jyoti Kamtoul, Amar Vidya Bharati, Deepti Memorial Public School, Jale High School, Major Blow to Schools in Bihar Saraswati Public School, SBBJ High School, and Modern English School were also found in violation. Several madrasas are also under the department’s radar for similar action.
This action underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring a streamlined and transparent education system. Schools failing to comply with the mandatory U-DISE code updates may face severe consequences in the coming days.
